I’m still in Bahamas mode and am missing this private beach we visited the last day of our trip.  I wanted to show you a resort outfit this morning as these soft pants from JJill are comfy for wearing around tropical resorts. Throw on a tunic over the top and you’ve got a relaxed style that also looks a bit dressier than just throwing on a cover-up.

They have to pack light – each with a small suitcase and a day pack. Lara has been gracious to share with us some items she chose for her trip.

Tall Travel Wardrobe – Europe

Chico’s – Ripstop Utility Shorts – 15.5″ inseam. She bought them in tan, black, and navy. Lara says they hit her above the knees and are really comfy with a stretch-knit waistband. They also come in a shorter length.

Athleta – Shasta Pants – 35.5″ Inseam.  Lara states – “These also have the stretch-knit waistband and are super comfy. I love the way you can snap the legs up to make them crops. I got them in Asphalt Heather and Dress Blue Heather.”

Eddie Bauer – Travel T-Shirts – she picked up several of these t-shirts. They are lightweight and wick moisture away and they also have sun protection.

She also added other items that she purchased, but did not list the exact items. So I have taken the liberty based on her descriptions, to add similar items to show you what a European travel wardrobe may look like:

Eddie Bauer – Travel Aster Tall Tank Top - she picked up a couple of tank tops to wear alone or under other tops if it’s chilly.

Gap - Market Printed Tall T-Shirt – Lara picked up a few print tops. Other options I like: Smock Print Shirt, Tie-Dye Print Blouse, and Jersey Boho Tops.

Lara mentioned she bought some Merrell walking shoes. She also needs recommendations for a comfy sandals that also looks good with a skirt or dress. I recommend: Naturalizer Archer or Clarks Harmony.  I chose this style for travel as it won’t fall off and you will want to avoid flip flops as you may get blisters in between your toes.

Lara has a lightweight rain jacket that folds into one of it’s pockets. (Hopefully she won’t need it). She also has a lightweight fleece jacket. It looks like her wardrobe is complete. Now, can I be please be your porter?
