Lara, a 6'1" tall woman, is really excited about her 25th wedding anniversary as she and her husband will celebrate by taking a trip to Europe. She will start her journey with 3 days in Paris, then catch a 14 day guided tour and end in Rome where they will spend a few days in the Cinque Terre region of Italy. Total length of the vacation is 3 weeks. Doesn't this sound like a dream? They have to pack light - each with a small suitcase and a day pack. By now you know I’m a fan of chambray right? I probably have about 5 chambray items in my closet- some I’ve had for years, some I’ve just purchased. Like this shirt: Women’s Tall Chambray Shirts. Does it look familiar? I wrote about it in this post. And clearly I couldn’t get it out of my head after that. I waited a while before pulling the trigger but when I saw it was still hanging out in my cart (and under $20 with discounts), I went for it. As you saw here, I had a chambray button down but it was darker and I thought this light color would be perfect for summer. I ordered it and… Pros: runs truer to size. I usually wear a medium in button downs. The first chambray shirt I had to return for a small. This one I ordered in my typical size and it was perfect. Various Tall Clothing Reviews

Last week was Spring break and it was so much fun! We drove our motor home to San Diego for some salt water therapy. Mr. Tall drives the Winnebago like it's a Corvette and it's always an adventure! While there we rented a boat for a few hours and we tubed "Mission Bay". I also tried paddle boarding and must admit that either it's harder when you are tall or maybe I'm just getting old. Ugh! I fell in the bay twice, but ended up figuring out my balance for the last 10 minutes. My teen sons had no problem figuring it out. At least they didn't laugh too hard when I fell in. But, I loved paddle boarding, so it's something I will try again. I'm rocking a painful sunburn (not on purpose) - seems my Swedish skin burns easier these days. Here's a couple of pictures to show you what we did. We drove the entire way home yesterday (12 hrs) and my 3 year old got ill and was vomiting the entire way home and all of last night. I don't know about you but when I worked outside the home it was always tough to take my work wear into casual wear. I hated having two wardrobes; it felt expensive and unnecessary. A week ago Krista did a post on the color mint. I love that color! It's been steadily gaining popularity for the last year or so (or at least that's when I started noticing) and another color you often see it paired with is coral. Coral is like peach's cool cousin. It's that orange-ish pink tone that seems fresh and flattering on everyone. If you are dying for spring like I am, it's a nice color to add to your closet now, in anticipation of the warm sunny days ahead.
