Coral Color Crush

A week ago Krista did a post on the color mint. I love that color! It's been steadily gaining popularity for the last year or so (or at least that's when I started noticing) and another color you often see it paired with is coral. Coral is like peach's cool cousin. It's that orange-ish pink tone that seems fresh and flattering on everyone. If you are dying for spring like I am, it's a nice color to add to your closet now, in anticipation of the warm sunny days ahead. Alloy Has a New Tall Shop

We all love Alloy! After all they have long inseam pants and jeans up to 37" long, tall maxi dresses, some longer length shirts and all at affordable prices. Alloy now has a new tall shop - with all of their tall or longer length items in one section for easier shopping! Don't you love it when stores make it easier for us to find what we need? So, how do I shop at Alloy? A few years ago, I tried them, didn't get the right fit and gave up on them. But, over the past year, I decided to give it another try and was pleasantly surprised. Obviously, I'm not a youngster anymore. {Sigh}. And a lot of the clothing is geared more towards teens. But, I have found items that I can wear. (pants and jeans). I usually check the size chart and then order the item in the size I think I am, and then a size larger. My Tall Pink Jeans

Do you remember the tall pink jeans post? I inspired myself so much, that I had to go out and buy them for myself. Overall, I am a pretty private person, so sharing actual pictures of myself gives me some anxiety. Aren't we always the most critical of ourselves? I'm trying to be more authentic this year, so here goes: I wore this outfit to a play on a snowy night. I had to throw in a picture of my Princess as so many of you have followed the story of her adoption over the years. She's quite the character! I changed up a few items from the original inspiration post and really want to show you my cool Jeffrey Campbell 'Martini' Flats (Black) - courtesy of Barefoot Tess.
