I’ve been meaning to blog a quick note about my latest splurge. I love, love, love Uggs and have a few pair that I have gotten great deals on (one pair was $35 brand new and authentic!!). Well I’ve been craving a new pair and Zappos was having a big sale. There were two pairs I really liked. This one: And this one: While I deliberated, the latter sold out (boo!). So I ordered the former but decided I didn’t love them enough to warrant the high price tag. So I mourned for a while and then lo and behold, I got a notification from Zappos that the Tularosa was back in stock in my size! Score! I ordered them; they came within a few days (more than 2 less than 5) and I LOVE them with a capital L. Here they are on my big feet. They are very well made, comfortable, and you can fold them up or down. Tall Personal Shopping: Guest Outfit for a Wedding in a French Castle
One of our Canadian tall ladies requested tall personal shopping help. Jenny is attending a formal wedding this Summer in a French castle. Doesn't that sound like a dream? I'm so jealous! Jenny's body stats and criteria: She is 5'11" and in her mid-thirties. She needs a formal looking dress and it also needs to be easy to pack for traveling. She wants her back covered. The wedding is in the afternoon and the party afterwards will last through the rest of the day and includes dinner and dancing. Women’s Tall Linen Pants
Today's post is inspired by a Twitter friend asking for help in finding some women's tall linen pants. So, I thought I'd see what I could find and give you a bit of advice on how to wear linen pants. Now that the it's getting warmer outside, linen is a comfy choice because the fabric breathes well. However, it tends to be a bit see through, so nude or white colored undergarments that are free of seams are a must. Forget the stripes and polka dots as these will definitely show through. :) I must say that linen pants have come a long way from looking like a tablecloth, to sophisticated trousers. Many of the new styles of linen pants are blended with fabrics that help keep them less wrinkled. Some linen pants need hand-washing in cool water to keep them soft feeling. Stand Tall week continues. Day 4. Have you been standing tall this week? Have you been proud to show off your height? Have you worn colored denim or heels?
