Boho styles are everywhere these days, and I’m loving this trend because it evokes a certain carefree “happy wanderer” feeling in me. I’m not quite comfortable going full boho by wearing a short tunic dress with over-the-knee boots or a fringed crop top and short denim shorts, but I think it would be fun to have at least one or two pieces from this trend in my closet.
One thing I’ve learned over the years is that if I’m trying a trend for the first time, it’s usually best for me to pick something that I would wear regardless of whether the item is “on trend” at the moment or not. This blue and white tall tunic dress is so pretty that I would continue to wear it even when the boho trend fades. I love the embroidered detailing, the lace-up front and the feminine fluted sleeves. Pairing the tunic with slightly distressed skinny jeans keeps the bohemian vibe going and adding turquoise earrings brings another layer of blue to the look, as well as a pop of bright color. Grab a cute hobo bag, throw on some comfortable white and gold sandals and your look is complete! I think this outfit would be perfect for an outdoor concert on a mild summer night or a lunch date with friends.
Have you delved into the boho trend yet? What pieces have you bought?
