Tall Maternity Style & A Review

I can’t believe it’s been THIS long and I haven’t shared any maternity posts!  I suppose life has me very busy but I couldn’t go another day without sharing a maternity look with you!  Here’s the sporty one I wore the other day:maternity style text

1969 Always Cuffed Skinny Jeans. I really like the jeans! I love the wash and the cuff.  They aren’t “tall” per se but fit like longer length capris.  For some reason this pregnancy, I’ve had a really hard time finding pants and jeans that stay put and I have to admit these do sag on and off while I’m wearing them–requiring me to pull them up.  I felt in between sizes and went up to the next size which was probably unnecessary because they do stretch a bit throughout the day.  All in all I’d recommend them but be warned- they aren’t the perfect pair.  That said, the price is right and it’s tough to find cute/trendy maternity wear so to me, the imperfections are worth it.

Asos Baseball Maternity Tee. I actually own this one but it’s only available in one size. I’m reviewing the one I have, not the one pictured.  I love it! I know it won’t fit me for the entire pregnancy and it’s not super stretchy but for now (and probably until it gets so hot that I don’t want to wear sleeves), it’s super cute.  For the price if I wear it a few times and pass it on to a friend, I’ll be happy.  Again- trendy and fun not boring like most maternity basics.  I’m 6 feet tall and the length is fine.  If you’re scared to order from this partner like I’ve been- it’s totally worth checking out! Many items have free shipping both ways so the risk is minimal!  Their tall section is killer!

Judith Jack Cross Earrings.

Converse Chuck Taylor. I wore boring black and whites ones but how fun are this pink pair?! Up to size 12.

Aztec Print Headwrap. I’m obsessed with headwraps lately!

It can be tough to dress even remotely stylish during pregnancy but with a few trendy accessories and acid wash jeans, I felt super cute in this look.  I was also comfortable which helps tremendously while expecting!  I mean- we’re dealing with enough discomfort right?!  I wish I’d taken a photo but alas finding the time for it was just not gonna happen!  I hope you’re inspired.

  1. Nothing better than stretchy trousers when pregnant and a large jumper type top while lounging on the sofa consuming a mixing bowl of rice krispies! Not too sure about the high heels though, I would go for a comfy yet classy shoe type if the occasion so chooses, minus the large jumper type top! xx
