Tall Personal Shopping: Heavy Winter Tall Coat

Today’s personal shopping request came from this Twitter tweet.

Tall Client: 6’1″ tall and size XL

Client says: “I’m  desperate for a new heavy winter tall coat with a hood.  Pls help:)”

Wants: The coat to hit mid thigh. She also told me where she had looked at some coats and wasn’t happy. So based on our tweets back and forth, here are my recommendations:

  1. I have a long North Face coat that hits above the knees. I’m 5’11” it’s long enough that I think bending over to zip it is cumbersome but it really gets the job done. I’ve invested in nothing but the best down coats over the years and I recommend North Face.

  3. Thank you for this post. I have been looking for the same type of puffer parka w/fur hood, except I am allergic to goose down. Are there any coats out there that looks just like these but are filled with a different material?
