Tall Librarian Wants an Updated Look – Tall Personal Shopping

Client: Helen

Profile: 6′ tall librarian 56 years young, size 14T, 35″ inseam, size 13 shoes.

Budget: Up to $400 per outfit

Wants: Winter work outfits. Prefers items she can layer because she sometimes sits near doors and it can get drafty. She works in a liberal arts college in the Midwest  Needs outfits that are age appropriate and modern. She can dress casually, but still likes to look professional. She sits at a computer, but gets up often to help students.

Tall Snob Responds: Helen, thanks for asking for help! I want you to get your groove on in the library. You mentioned that you have lots of separates  but aren’t sure how to put them together.  The outfits I have created for you can all be mixed and matched to give you the greatest versatility in your wardrobe.  So don’t be afraid to match any of these items! Sometimes, just adding a statement necklace or pretty scarf can add the needed “oomph” to your outfit.  So I suggest you invest the majority of your budget in some upscale basics like comfy, yet figure forgiving  ponte knit pants,  form fitting blazers and stylish shoes. Then spend less money on basic shirts, tank tops and t-shirts. Finally add some inexpensive scarves and necklaces to complete the look. Let’s see the looks:
