Today starts the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. You can pick up designer brand clothing for Fall at discount prices. As a teen I would frequent this sale every year to pick up my school clothes. One year in particular stands out to me as I got some incredible deals. I scored way more clothes than normal as I had worked all Summer and it just seemed that my money went further than usual.
We moved to a new town a few weeks after the sale and my newly formed friends came over to visit. One “friend” was a cheerleader the other was into sports. They took one look at my clothes and were drooling over my finds. If you can believe this, they actually got jealous of my closet and decided to not be my friends. HOW STUPID! Some people are shallow! I can tell you that I was better off without them anyway. That year was probably the best wardrobe I’ve ever had.
